The Brown Derby has been a popular American Cuisine dining spot since 1934. Our historical property has long been enjoyed by many for our welcoming atmosphere and the finest in food and refreshment. Our dedicated management and staff are committed to offering memorable dining experiences in a casual setting. Offering a wide variation of choices at a reasonable cost, patrons are able to find from the best burgers in town to center-cut filet, slow roasted prime rib, and of course, our premium South African lobster tail, which we have been famously know for many decades. We are also accommodative of birthday parties and family gatherings to wedding rehearsal dinners and receptions. Our lunch menu has been recently revised to offer a wide selection including several of our past favorite items. Call ahead ordering is available for those on a time limit.
Our bar has come to be known as “The Cheers of Toughkenamon”, including our very own Norm, a long time loyal customer. In a casual eighteen seat bar, we provide plasma television entertainment for every sports event and an occasional movie.
Joe and Lynne Hudock, proprietors of The Brown Derby, are the third owner bringing with them years of experience in family dining. Joe is well known for his award winning crab cakes, crab dip, and other secret recipes which prove to continue to be favorites. Joe and Lynne have dedicated themselves to providing a casual, friendly restaurant and bar serving only the finest of ingredients. They have created a personable, unique atmosphere that is pleasurable for all.
